Wedding weekend

Photobucket
I think we all agree that it was an amazing weekend.  These girls have completely fallen in love with Emma and couldn't wait to see her in her beautiful dress with the 'weeds' on it. (Lucy)  If we didn't have Lucy throwing up everyday, it would've been one of those weekends where you didn't want to end.  And why haven't any of us gotten married in San Diego before?  The weather was perfect, the temple is amazing, and it's not too far away.  Scotty?
Let me start from the beginning.  Thursday we took the kids to Sea World for the day.  They loved it.  They fed the dolphins and sea lions, and saw the Shamu show.

If we hadn't lost Cams and Kendyl at the end of this day -panic attack- it would have been a day of perfectness.

Thursday was a beach day.  This was a blast of a day because the Collins joined us, along with Steve & Krista, and Preston & Rachel & kids.

Oh wait, is there a wedding?  Yes, finally we got to Saturday.  Here are the sibs right after the ceremony which by the way, was one of the best ceremonies I have ever heard.  I didn't get the memo that we were supposed to wear our wedding attire to the temple so all the pictures were taken with me in black which was the only color Emma said 'no' to.  Way to go.

Look at this face - Lucy was pretty miserable after getting sunburned at the beach because her horrible mother didn't put enough sunblock on her.  I felt really bad about this.  She wanted no part in the wedding party.
This is what we all looked like after the partying was done.  This little guy slept like a brick last night in his big bed (no more crib).  My eyes are still heavy but it was so worth it.  We are so grateful for Emma & Brad that they made it a priority to be married in the temple.  It was such a sweet, humbling, and peaceful ceremony.  One I will never ever forget.
