John & I have been counting down the days until the end of the year for 2 reasons:
No more 12:30 church and BENNY TURNS 18 MONTHS!! Wahoo!! It really is the best age in the church - not 8, not 12, and not any others. We haven't felt this free in a long time. You mean we actually get to go to 3rd hour together and not have to bring 2 cars and everyone comes home at the same time?
Benny could not make it through 12:30 church no matter how hard he tried. And he was making his father very frustrated so I always had to calmly remind him that all of our other kids went through it and he will grow out of it too. But seriously, Ben, you're 18 months now and you still fight us whenever we change your diaper or put you in your carseat. EVERY TIME! It's exhausting. If he only wasn't such a snuggler, I'd really have a hard time with this kid, but he melts my heart whenever he carries on a conversation with me or just lays his head on my shoulder. Love you bud.
